Headhunterz signs global deal with EDM Label Ultra Music
David Waxman, General Manager and Head of A&R said, “Immediately after I first heard one of his productions, I wanted to work with Headhunterz. He brings a unique style to electronic music that is incredibly reactive upon first listen and his cult-like following is also a testament of his refreshing sound.”
The announcement is a landmark moment for both Headhunterz and the burgeoning hardstyle movement. Having grown exponentially in its home nation of Holland, the last few years have seen the sound exported internationally. Riding off the success of sold out events and the backing of leading promoter Q-dance, the hardstyle movement continues to build momentum, with the sound attracting large crowds in the US, Australia, Russia, Canada and for these unique shows.
When asked about the deal Headhunterz expressed, “The deal with Ultra Music is a turning point in my career as an artist and producer. Having complete creative control in every aspect of what I do as Headhunterz will no doubt allow me the space and creativity to be true to hardstyle whilst being able to spread my music on an even larger scale backed by their resources, I am thrilled to get started on this exciting new adventure”
Rising from the rapidly expanding hard dance scene, Club Class Music Management client Headhunterz has claimed a top position in the world by reaching an amazing 11th place in the DJ Mag Top 100. This remarkable feat comes after a series of acclaimed main stage performances at hardstyle festivals such as Defqon & Qlimax, three albums, several chart topping anthems and remixes, and his leading, genre-defining, hardstyle podcast named HARD with STYLE™. Headhunterz has also hosted the Amsterdam Dance Event’s biggest show, Q-dance presents Headhunterz – Hard with Style, by debuting the brand new, state-of-the-art concert stadium Ziggo Dome.
