Just across the Dutch-German border, hidden deep within the forests of Weeze, lies an abandoned air force base. Each year in the beginning of September, thousands of fellow partygoers settle down here for the closing of the harder styles festival season. Coming from all directions and connected by their passion for the harder styles, they unite in the mecca of die-hards: Q-BASE. This is where the magic happens..

Tenth Edition:
Q-BASE will celebrate her 10th edition on September 7th 2013. The festival distinguishes from other festivals by her adventurous and nocturnal character. The unique setting and progressive line-up also contribute to the festival’s feeling. Just after sunset the festival’s mood takes a turn, when the terrain truly comes to life. Regular visitors of Q-BASE are well aware of this moment. It’s the beginning of an adventure of a lifetime: ‘Enter The Twilight Zone’.

Partners:
For the tenth edition of Q-BASE, Q-dance has found a musical balance between leading labels and underground partners. Traditionally, Q-dance hosts the Open Air and Hangar areas. The Open Air area focuses on a spectrum of harder styles, while the Hangar will blow you away with unadulterated raw hardstyle. If you fancy new hardstyle sounds, the ‘Scantraxx’-bunker is your place to be. The Prophet will showcase his label’s newest and most talented acts. Brace yourselves, because the Italian-Dutch alliance ‘This is Hardcore’ will bring you the best hardcore available at their stage. Right next to this stage, true hardcore lovers will find themselves in for a treat. Paradox will host an all ‘Millenium Hardcore’ bunker. This blast from the past is bound to make your heart thumb! And no, your eyes are not deceiving you… this year Q-BASE features another hardcore bunker!

Are you looking for more? Good, because this is not all for ‘ya! PRSPCT will satisfy your drum ’n bass as well as your hardcore needs. Front man Thrasher managed to get together a refreshing line-up, featuring one very exclusive act. We’ll reveal more about this later. If banging techno is more your style, get your fix at United Schranz Board. USB rocked it so hard last year; we couldn’t leave them out the roster this edition of Q-BASE! Last but certainly not least: QULT. If you’re looking for a place where musical innovations and an intimate atmosphere blend together flawlessly, this is your place to be. Join the musical experiment and surrender yourself to a unique combination of electro, techno and the new sub ground sound.

Drop Your Own Area:
Q-dance highly values innovation and gladly welcomes new talent. Hence, this year’s edition of Q-BASE will feature another ‘Drop Your Own Area’-contest. Over the past years, small organizations like ‘TK07’, ‘Andere Koek’ and ‘Hit ’n Run’ conquered their own stage at Q-BASE. Who will it be this year? Start brainstorming and get ready, because more information about the contest will soon be revealed on Q-dance.com.

Q-BASE – Original Soundtrack:
Because Q-BASE is so musically versatile, just one anthem wouldn’t do it justice. To uphold Q-BASE’s broad spectrum of harder styles, four artists are working on a Q-BASE soundtrack. Ran-D, Mad Dog, Hellfish and ACTI are this year’s contributing artists to the soundtrack of Q-BASE 2013. The trailer features a preview of one of the tracks!
